Math 7 builds on foundational skills and prepares students for Pre-Algebra with a focus on real-world applications, logical reasoning, and conceptual understanding. The course introduces advanced operations, proportional thinking, algebraic expressions, geometry, and data analysis—all with plenty of guided support and practice.

  • Expressions & Properties

  • Ratios, Rates & Unit Rates

  • Proportional Relationships

  • Percents, Markups & Discounts

Semester 2:

  • Graphing on the Coordinate Plane

  • Inequalities

  • Two-Step Equations & Inequalities

  • Area, Surface Area & Volume

  • Circles (radius, diameter, circumference, area)

  • Probability & Statistics

  • Introduction to Slope and Linear Graphing

This is a flipped classroom model:

  • 📹 At Home: Students watch short video lessons and take notes (videos provided).

  • ✏️ In Class: Students apply concepts through guided practice, activities, and group and independent work.

  • 🗂️ Includes: Full-semester printed math binder, guided notes, enrichment, review, and assessments.
